Janet E. Dwyer, (nee Carroll),  age 75, of Woolwich Twp, NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on April 8, 2014.

Beloved wife of 54 years of William A. Dwyer. Devoted mother of William J. (Robin) Dwyer of Hollidaysburg, PA, Kathleen M. (Klaus) Henkel of Sewell, NJ, Timothy J. (Libby) Dwyer of W. Chester, PA and Kevin M. (Mary) Dwyer of Lower Gwynedd, PA. Loving grandmother of Meghan (Joe), Jeffrey (Michelle), Jennifer, Patrick, Chelsea, Caroline, Carter, Olivia and Benjamin.

Janet loved to surround herself with family and friends, and was always ready for a party.

She was the ultimate “Mammom,” whose nine grandchildren were the light of her life, always looking forward to and planning for their next accomplishments, milestones or special occasions. Throughout their lives, she was a constant presence at every sporting event, school affair, performance, graduation and wedding.

Janet devoted herself to creating a warm and happy home for her treasured family. Especially during holidays, she loved nothing more than to bring her loved ones together around her dining room table. The consummate homemaker, Janet spent much of her time cooking (and cleaning!). Her home was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with attention to every detail.

She was a proud member of the Red Hats and the JULIET’s (Just Us Ladies Interested in Eating Together) luncheon gang, and a devoted member of “Club” from Bucks County. Janet also loved to shop, decorate, vacuum, travel and go out to dinner. Between June and September, if not socializing poolside in Swedesboro, you’d be sure to find her on the beach in Sea Isle. Year round, she was always up for a day trip to NYC for dinner at La Rivista followed by a Broadway show.

Our beloved wife, Mom and Mammom, Janet was, as a neighbor so aptly put it, a “firecracker” who made life a series of celebrations for all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing Fri. 7-9 PM and Sat. 9:30-10:30 AM at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where Janet’s funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Swedesboro.

Mom, four weeks ago you were taken from us to move on to a higher and better place. I am sure you are resting peacefully and reuniting with all of your loved ones who passed on before you. I know you are watching over all of us just like you did for the past 50+ years. We do need you to continue to do so. I miss you and will fulfill my promise I made to you. Love, Timmy.

Dear Bill & family, I am so sorry for your loss. My dear, dear friend of 37 years will be missed. Memory is a dimension of faith. The happy memories, especially of our grand times (and wild antics) in the Pocono's will serve to increase my faith in all that is good. Good-bye "Bubbles"!

Many friends are waiting for Janet, including my own Manny, and I am sure they will enjoy the Banquet. Love & Prayers, Harriet

We all have a finite amount of time to walk the earth. You have left a fine legacy in your family. God bless your soul. Time travels so quickly. It was nice walking with you for a bit.

Mr. Dwyer and Family: Terribly saddened to learn of the passing of your beloved wife and mother. All anyone needs to know about this wonderful lady is evident in your children. May she live forever in the hearts and minds of all who love her.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I only had the pleasure of meeting her one time at megan's wedding. She must have had a very big heart if Bill took after her. The one thing i remember about her is what Bill has said about all of her "Hang Ups" when she goes on vacation. Bill teases me about all of my Hang Ups" versus hers. Again, sorry for your loss.     Ramona Nelson  Family

Dear Bill and the entire Dwyer family, we are so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. We are very blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and spend time with Janet over the years, mostly at parties and celebrations ... and when she could get a word in edgewise standing aside of Bill :-) ... she had such a great sense of wit and humor. Her smile was infectious. We will miss her.

Mom, there was nothing left to say. We said what we needed to say to each other. I was the first child to see you and the last child to leave your room. You gave me your drive, you gave me my drive, and you gave me my life. I am only because of you, and I will continue to honor you from now until we meet again.

Love, Billy.
